How to Read the Bible: Old Testament

The Old Testament accounts for over two-thirds of our Bible, but many Christians haven’t read it because it can be difficult to understand. However, Jesus frequently quotes the old testament, and all the New Testament writers allude to Old Testament stories, laws, psalms, wisdom and prophecy to make their claims about Jesus. This applied class will challenge you to see how the gospel may be found in every book of the Bible– not only in the New Testament.

“How to Read the Bible Old Testament” is designed to build on the techniques learned in the equip class “How to Read the Bible New Testament”, but anyone with experience studying the Bible will thrive in it. Come join us for 6 weeks as we walk through the concepts from Gordon Fee’s book “How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth”, and discover new treasures in the oldest corners of our Bible!
