Thanks to the work of our Missions Committee, our church began a partnership with Divine Care Ministries early in 2024. As a step in building this partnership, we are sending a team of people from our church to Uganda, to witness God’s work through Divine Care Ministries. With this trip coming up, Gospel Kids wants to be involved by making prayer bracelets for the trip.

These bracelets have been handcrafted by our Gospel Kids. Our hope for these bracelets is that they would be a reminder to pray for Uganda. Specifically, praying over the team in Uganda, the people of Uganda, and that hearts would be softened for the Gospel.

To receive a bracelet, we are asking that you make a donation (you choose the amount) to the Uganda mission fund. The donations will allow Gospel Kids to begin an ongoing partnership with Divine Care Ministries by sponsoring a child who is a part of their program, at the cost of $50/month.

Our hope is that creating this ongoing sponsorship will foster more conversations around spiritual disciplines such as tithing with our children, while also teaching them the value of serving others and giving them a global perspective of God’s Kingdom. Our hope is that Gospel Kids will be able to support this child until they graduate from the DCM program, and possibly support more children if ongoing giving in Gospel Kids provides.

In addition to sponsoring a child financially, Gospel Kids will spend time writing letters, and praying over children in Uganda. Our hope is that this is a practical way for our kids to have a heart for the nations and share the good news of Jesus Christ. Thank you for helping us establish this partnership in Gospel Kids and allowing our children to embrace a global view of the church and serving in God’s Kingdom.
