Why Be Pro Church

As Pastor Cole takes us through Colossians, we come to a “pro-church” passage, where Paul

commends the Colossians for things they did well, even as he anticipates greater maturity for

them. While churches have many flaws and faults, from this passage we’ll consider three

reasons why to be pro-church: because it is the fellowship of the shared sufferings of Christ,

because the church is the fellowship of shared growth in Christ, and because the church is the

fellowship of shared love for Christ.
